World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2023

The annual meeting, which will run from 16-20 January 2023, will gather leaders from government, business, and civil society to discuss “cooperation in a fragmented world” while providing a platform to engage in constructive, forward-looking dialogues and help find solutions through public-private cooperation.

IQM's CEO and Co-founder, Dr. Jan Goetz, who is also a Digital Leader and Global Innovator at the WEF, will speak on "The Quantum Tipping Point" as part of the official WEF programme with other experts including Ana Paula Assis, the General Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at IBM; Kohei Itoh, President of Keio University in Japan; and Amy Webb, a Professor of Strategic Foresight at New York University’s Stern School of Business.

This session is linked to the ongoing work of the Quantum Economy Network of the World Economic Forum. Quantum technologies have massive potential in a wide array of fields, from finance to healthcare.

Goetz will also feature in other one-to-one meetings and the “Building Advanced Manufacturing Ecosystems for Sustainable Growth” side event organised by Guidance (formerly known as Tamil Nadu Industrial Guidance and Export Promotion Bureau).
