Running Quantum Chemistry on IQM Hardware with Qrunch by Kvantify

This webinar brought together quantum computing software and hardware experts for a practical introduction to running quantum computations with Qrunch and IQM Resonance.
Patrick Ettenhuber from Kvantify opened with an overview of Qrunch’s core capabilities — covering rapid and approximate simulators, scalability for flagship algorithms, and a hardware-specific noise simulator built on real device data. Daniel Bulmash from IQM followed with an introduction to IQM’s full-stack quantum computing offering, including on-premises systems and the IQM Resonance cloud platform, with a focus on circuit-level execution.

The session culminated in a live coding demo, walking through the full Qrunch workflow — from licence setup and molecule building to problem creation, solver configuration, and executing a real quantum computation on IQM’s Garnet quantum computer.
