For this purpose, we have created this Code of Conduct, which forms an ethical backbone for the company and on which we may rely on when making decisions. The Code of Conduct defines the standards of business conduct and practices that we expect from not only our employees, as well as from our suppliers, customers, business partners and other stakeholders. We follow this Code of Conduct both in our day-to-day work, and in our long-term planning.
Responsibility is important for us all. Everyone at IQM is expected to help ensure the commitment to these standards in our culture and way of working. Together we can make IQM a company known for our integrity and ethics.

Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations is the minimum expected at IQM. However, we do not limit ourselves to that but strive to always demonstrate the highest standards of ethics, responsibility, and integrity we all are capable of.
IQM strives to observe good corporate governance practices in accordance with local laws and regulations. We are constantly pushing for improvement to make sure that our practices are efficient and in compliance with any applicable regulations and standards, and meet the requirements of the stakeholders.
Risk management is an integral part of good corporate governance and sound management practices. IQM is exposed to various risk factors that stem from external environment, internal decision making, operating processes and systems in use. Everyone at IQM plays an important role in risk identification and management. We strive to continuously develop the implementation and monitoring of its risk management processes.
IQM does not engage in activities that are contrary to good business practices or otherwise inappropriate. We promote ethical practices in our business relationships.
Business relations with our partners are determined on a commercial basis. We expect all our counterparties and stakeholders to act in good faith and to the best of their abilities to fulfill their obligations.
IQM is actively working to prevent bribery and other forms of corruption.
IQM has in place a comprehensive anti-corruption policy and guidance. All forms of corruption, bribery and money-laundering are prohibited at IQM.
Everyone at IQM is required to keep any records accurate, honest and transparent. Any attempt to create misleading records or reports is strictly prohibited.
All financial reporting is done in full compliance with international standards, applicable laws and regulations.
IQM recognizes the importance of and is committed to maintaining the privacy of our employees, customers, suppliers, business partners and other stakeholders whose data is being processed by us, for whatever reason. All personal data is processed only in accordance with IQM’s Privacy Policy, in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and local data protection laws.
Security in general, including data security, is a priority for us. We have a comprehensive information security policy that defines the security protocols used at IQM.
IQM offers our employees a safe and comfortable workplace. We strive to actively promote the health, job satisfaction and personal development of our employees. This applies to management practices, workspaces, tools, practices, job descriptions, personal development opportunities, and other aspects of the work environment.
IQM has a zero-tolerance approach for any form of bullying or harassment, whether it is physical or mental. We actively participate to prevent all forms of bullying and harassment.
Employee workload is monitored and, if necessary, measures are taken to redistribute individual workloads.
IQM respects human and basic rights. Under no circumstances is it acceptable for us to disregard their importance and validity.
At IQM, we represent a diverse range of cultures, nationalities, faiths and beliefs. We hold respect toward other cultures indispensable.
Everyone at IQM is treated equally. We do not accept any form of discrimination and actively seek to prevent any discriminatory treatment, for example, related to salary or career development. The use of child labor or forced labor is expressly forbidden at IQM with no exceptions.
At IQM we well understand the importance of intellectual property rights. We respect intellectual property rights and comply with all applicable laws and regulations as well as international treaties on copyrights, patents, trademarks, design rights, etc. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and do not infringe or exploit without permission other proprietary rights or trade secrets in any of our activities.
IQM is committed to operate sustainably and has an ambition to continuously improve its performance in this area. We comply with environmental laws and regulations and use natural resources sparingly.
IQM encourages any initiatives of our employees, customers, and partners that help us achieve our sustainability goals.
IQM has in place a whistleblowing policy and channel. Through the whistleblowing channel, our employees and other stakeholders may report violations for which usual channels are not suitable for. All reports are treated with seriousness and confidence. Anonymous reporting is possible.
Breaches of this Code of Conduct by our employees, suppliers, customers, business partners and other stakeholders may be reported through the whistleblowing channel.
To ensure that this Code of Conduct is fully implemented and embraced, everyone at IQM is required to follow it at all times, and to promote its application. We expect the same from our customers, suppliers, business partners and other stakeholders.
Breaches of this Code of Conduct are reviewed and may result in sanctions up to and including termination of employment or partnership.
