In partnership with Finnish Flow, IQM Quantum Computers will join other public and private businesses to participate in the 54th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos to address global societal and business challenges.
This is the third time Finnish Flow is organising the initiative, and as part of the side events dubbed “Future is Now," which is an invitation-only event for 150 thought leaders and decision-makers, Finnish Flow will hold four roundtables covering the themes of sustainability, wellbeing, investing and emerging technology, on 16 January, 2024.
IQM delegation, which includes Dr. Jan Goetz, CEO and Co-founder, and Dr. Juha Vartiainen, Global Affairs Officer and Co-founder, will host a roundtable discussion on Emerging Technologies. IQM is taking part in the Finnish Flow business delegation to Davos for the second time.
The WEF in Davos is important for IQM because it provides a unique opportunity to meet top decision-makers from industry, governments, and investors all in one place,” said Goetz.
He added:
Engaging in discussions on the global economic and technological landscape enables us to stay at the forefront of emerging trends, align our strategic initiatives with broader industry goals, and actively contribute to shaping the future of quantum computing.”
We are excited to see IQM returning to Finnish Flow and benefitting the high-profile networking opportunities. Our programming has evolved into one of the most sought-after events in the Davos side event ecosystem, with an overwhelming 800 leaders applying to participate this year alone.
Over the years, we have proudly welcomed approximately 50 Finnish business leaders, government officials, and numerous Finnish companies to our events. Nevertheless, Finnish Flow remains, above all, a global platform dedicated to fostering new business opportunities for all participants,” affirms Risto Kuulasmaa, Co-founder of Finnish Flow.
